Around a year ago now I met Benaiah Matheson; A fellow Huddersfield resident, hip hop fan, and one of the coolest and most talented people I know. A contemporary artist, illustrator and fashion designer, he is the owner of a small shop in Huddersfield's Byram Arcade, by the name of "The Connoisseur's Independent Trading Post". All pieces, including t-shirts, crew-necks and beanies are artworks themselves, all designed by Benaiah, and reflect his own consciousness and perception of society. The quality of fabric and print are both excellent and superior to pretty much every other brand of a similar price-point; at least from what I've experienced.
At the moment you can only buy the t-shirts from the internet, but I think soon enough more items will be added to his website and also ASOS Marketplace.
